Hi everyone! Now that Halloween is gone, let’s get some Christmas inspiration! Let me share with you the latest art journal spread I’ve created for the PaperArtsy fortnight Challenge: A Vintage Christmas. I really like creating Art Journals, but I always like to do something special about them. In the previous one I did a lot of fussy cutting and I played with colours that are out of my comfort zone. For this one the special thing is that it doesn’t have a fixed layout, you can change it a bit, it’s more playful! Some elements can be moved and changed around: a magnetic postcard and a double sided bookmark (gold/brown) which features a handmade crocheted chain. Of course, apart from those unusual elements, I used some of the usual suspects too… infusions and some of the new colours of PaperArtsy paints. Video coming too! I hope you like it! Enjoy!

Hola a todos! Ahora que Halloween ya ha pasado, vamos a por inspiración para Navidad! Aquí tenéis mi último Art Journal que he creado para el reto que nos propone PaperArtsy cada dos semanas, este se llama A Vintage Christmas. Me encanta crear Art Journals y siempre me gusta hacer algo especial en cada uno de ellos. En el anterior recorté una infinidad de imágenes y trabajé con una paleta de colores fuera de mi zona de confort y me encantó trabajar en él. Para este Art Journal de hoy, lo especial es que da mucho juego porque he creado elementos que no están fijos, se puede jugar con el diseño y cambiarlo de varias formas. Tiene una Postal magnetizada y una especie de punto de libro con elementos de dobles caras (doradas y marrones) que cuelga de una cadeneta de ganchillo que he hecho a mano. A parte de usar estos elementos, como no, usaré mis queridas Infusions y algunas pinturas nuevas de PaperArtsy. Y lo grabé todo en vídeo… 😉 Espero que os guste!

2017 Winter Release – PaperArtsy stamps by scrapcosy

Hi everyone! Today it’s a very special night for me, it is my third release of stamps and stencils for PaperArtsy and I can’t be happier! This release is about Christmas! And although it’s September, after going crazy creating all these samples I feel it’s Christmas already. Did I say I went crazy? Yes, I could’t stop myself from creating different things with all the stamps and stencils on the release: I created a Christmas panel, a calendar, a bunch of cards and a bunch of tags (see the video on how to create few of these tags). Hola a todos! Hoy es una noche muy especial para mí, es el lanzamiento de mis nuevos sellos y estenciles que he sacado con PaperArtsy y estoy encantada! Estos sellos van de Navidad! Aunque estemos en septiembre, después de crear muestras como una loca ya me da la sensación de que las Navidades están a la vuelta de la esquina, sobretodo aquí en Londres que hace un frío que pela! Pues me emocioné tanto con los sellos que he hecho de todo: un cartel de Navidad, un calendario, un montón de tarjetas y un montón de tags y aunque tengo vídeos de todas las cositas, hoy sólo vais a poder ver vídeo de unas pocas muestras, que sino nos dan las uvas! Eso sí, del resto podéis ver todas las fotos que queráis. Ya me diréis qué os parecen mis nuevos sellos y estenciles en la sección de comentarios de abajo (por cierto, ya están disponibles en mi tienda Etsy, para las que no os podáis resistir! 😉 Espero que os gusten!

Book of Samples and last Christmas Market

Hi everyone! On Tuesday 29/11 I had the chance to show the crafty things that I create at a Christmas Market stall I organised at my office (5% of the sales went to charity), and I’m super happy with the experience and the feedback I got from all the people, so I just wanted to share this with you, for all who missed it, so you can have an idea of what happened, what the people saw (including a video of my Book of samples) and also in case you want to organise a stall yourself, I’ll add my checklist of things to be done ahead, during and after and what can be improved for the next time.

El martes 29/11 tuve la oportunidad de mostrar las cosas artesanas que hago en un puestecito navideño que organicé en mi oficina (el 5% de las ventas fueron a una ONG) y estoy súper contenta con la experiencia y el feedback que tuve de toda la gente, así que quería compartirlo con vosotros, para todos los que no pudieron venir, para que podáis ver qué pasó, qué vio la gente (incluido un vídeo con mi book) y también por si queréis algún día montar un puestecito vosotros os añado mi lista de cosas, a hacer antes, durante y después y qué se puede mejorar para la próxima vez.

My Etsy shop is now open!

Hi everyone! As you may remember, I was supposed to attend a fair in London where I could sell my stuff. I was having many ideas for the stand, I wanted to do even a raffle and I was very excited.

But guess what… The fair got cancelled! I have been looking (and I’m still looking) for other fairs but at this stage they obviously don’t have any availability, therefore I had to look for an alternative so you guys can have access to my postcards and notebooks created so far, should you please. For this reaso, I’ve just created an Etsy shop! I’m even more excited than before!! Have a look and let me know what you think. I’m adding the links in the images, just in case you want to get some of these items (there are postcards and notebooks). And remember, I have more with me (in Etsy there is only one item available), so if you live in London, I can hand them to you, so you avoid any shipping costs 😉 And by the way, I can do customised items for you, just contact me! 🙂

Hola a todos! Quizás recordáis que hace un tiempo comenté que iba a poner un puestecito en una feria de Londres para vender mis cosas. Tenía muchas ideas para el stand, incluso quería hacer un sorteo. Estaba muy ilusionada.

Pero adivinad… han cancelado la feria! Total, que he estado mirando otras opciones de ferias (aún sigo mirando) pero a estas alturas ya no quedan puestos libres, como comprenderéis. Así que he tenido que buscar una alternativa para que los que queráis, podáis comprar mis postales y cuadernos 100% handmade. Así que acabo de crear mi tienda en Etsy! Ahora estoy aún más ilusionada que antes!! Echadle un vistazo y decidme qué os parece. Añado a continuación imágenes de los productos en venta allí, con links directos a Etsy. Tengo más postales de esas mismas colecciones que no he subido a Etsy, porque allí sólo he subido un producto de cada. Craft Fair – Christmas Cards 2015 paper collection

Hola a todos!  Este post llega más tarde de lo previsto porque he estado de vacaciones una semanita por Barcelona. Disfrutando del sol, la playa, la piscina, la comida y, sobre todo, de amigos y familia. Aunque estaba de vacaciones (o más bien, como estaba de vacaciones) no podía faltar el scrap. Así que el post de hoy va de lo que he estado preparando para la feria del 5 de diciembre en Charlton House, en Londres (Charlton Road, SE7 8RE) donde pondré un puestecito y podréis comprar cositas como esta colección de tarjetas de Navidad.

Hi everyone! This post is slightly delayed because I’ve been on holidays for a week in Barcelona. I’ve been enjoying the sun, the beach, the swimming pool, the food and, most of all, I’ve been enjoying my time with my friends and my family. Although I was on holidays (or maybe because I was on holidays) there was some time for scrap too. So today’s post is about what I’ve been doing in preparation for December’s fair on 05/12/2015 in Charlton House, in Londod (Charlton Road, SE7 8RE). I’ll be having a table in that craft fair, so you’ll be able to find my creations and buy them if you please, like this collection of Christmas cards.
